Senior Airman Jay Pickle extracts a small amount of a mixture that helps lower the freezing point of fuel as part of a test Dec. 28 of a recent shipment of fuel to Ali Base, Iraq. A sample of fuel must be tested for every shipment received to ensure the quality meets the strict standards to be used in Air Force aircraft.
