Col. Giovanni Tuck salutes the flag presented to Helen Burnett Dec. 7, 2009 at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii. The remembrance ceremony marked the anniversary of the Dec. 7, 1941, attacks on Pearl Harbor Navy fleet and the Army Air Corps fields of Hickam, Wheeler and Bellows. Mrs. Burnett is the widow of retired Col. Vane Ward Burnett. Colonel Burnett, who passed away two weeks prior to the ceremony, watched as Japanese planes attacked Pearl Harbor and Hickam Field.
