Balad aerial port bests cargo movement record
Senior Airman Jeff Johnson watches as the pallets come off the cargo loader onto an aircraft Dec. 8 at Balad Air Base, Iraq. The aircraft cargo loaders can move the cargo forward automatically, completing some of the grueling work often done by the aerial porters. Airman Johnson is a 332nd Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron transportation specialist deployed from Altus Air Force Base, Okla. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Travis Edwards)
