Tower-climbing certification

Staff Sgt. Frank Royal attaches a safety harness to Airman 1st Class William Klemmer Nov. 26. before he climbed the Radio-over-Internet Protocol Routed network tower at Ali Base, Iraq. Airmen from the 407th Expeditionary Communications Squadron took an opportunity to get tower-climbing certifications when a team arrived to do preventive maintenance on the RIPRnet.
