Planes over water

AIR FORCE PHOTOS

Muddy waters

Senior Airman Kevin Marshall connects two pieces of matting for the floor on the new vehicle maintenance overhang Nov. 25 at Balad Air Base, Iraq. The new overhang, which will be twice the size of its predecessor, will cover a leveled-gravel surface preventing water pockets from forming underneath the matting during the rainy season. Airman Marshall, a 727th Expeditionary Air Control Squadron vehicle maintainer, is deployed from Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Joshua Garcia)
