U.S. Air Force Weapons School Mobility Air Forces Exercise

Nellis AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- A group of C-130 Hercules aircraft come in for a landing at Nellis Nov. 18. The aircraft are part of the bi-annual, U.S. Air Force Weapons School Mobility Air Forces Exercise which provides realistic training for combat air force, mobility air force, and U.S. Army personnel. Approximately 40 C-17s and C-130s from Air Force bases around the United States flew approximately 400 Soldiers from Fort Bragg, N.C., for airdrops on the Nevada Test and Training Range. In addition to providing airdrop training, the exercise also allows Soldiers the opportunity to utilize Range facilities to conduct urban ground operations training.
