Running a ruck
Col. C.Q. Brown fires the starting gun for the first Veterans Day Memorial Ruck/Run held here Nov. 17 at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea. Ten teams, each comprising four members, participated in the 10K march carrying 40-pound ruck sacks followed by a 1.5 mile run. Teams from the Republic of Korea air force joined U.S. teams from Kunsan and Osan air bases for the competition in an effort to build teamwork and camaraderie.
