Running a ruck
Members of the 8th Security Forces Squadron team, (from left) Senior Airman Brad Tubbs, Senior Airman Dustin Manning, Airman James Butler and 1st Lt. Brett Skates, cross the finish line of the 1st Veterans Day Memorial Ruck/Run held Nov. 17 at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea. Ten teams, each comprising four members, participatied in the 10K march carrying 40-pound ruck sacks followed by a 1.5 mile run. The 8th SF team finished in first place with an overall team time of 1:33:16. Teams from the Republic of Korea air force joined U.S. teams from Kunsan and Osan air bases for the competition in an effort to build teamwork and camaraderie. (U.S. Air Force Photo/Master Sgt.
