C-130 arrival in Poland marks end, new beginning
Staff Sgt. Matthew Parker works with Polish air force Chief Warrant Officer Daniel Orlowski in tracing an electrical problem on the No. 4 engine of the last in a series of E-model C-130 Hercules aircraft Oct. 29, 2009, at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. The two mechanics, assigned to the 86th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron and 33rd Air Base Group, respectively, were completing a week-long home station check before the aircraft is transferred to the Polish air force's 14th Airlift Squadron at Powidz Air Base, Poland, as part of a program for building partnership capacities between the United States and its allies.
