Warrior Flight
Justin Growden of the Disabled American Veterans Flight Team welcomes wounded warriors and their families Nov. 5, 2009, to the San Antonio International Airport for flights on historic military aircraft and experimental acrobatic planes. When he asked who wants to fly in a B-25 Mitchell bomber, hands quickly went up. The wounded warriors are from the Warrior Transition Unit of the San Antonio Military Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Approximately 10 aircrews have come here from across the region to participate in the Randolph Air Force Base "Forging the Future" Air Show on November 7 and 8. (U.S. Air Force photo/Lance Cheung)
