Warrior Flight
Air Force Staff Sgt. Richard Pollock (left) and Army National Guard Sgt. Kisha Makerney asks (ret.) Lt. Col, Dick Cole a question about the Doolittle raid on Tokyo during WWII. Cole was Col. Jimmy Doolittle's co-pilot for the historic raid. Disabled American Veterans Flight Team coordinated a flight day for wounded warriors and their family on Nov. 5, 2009. They will be flying in historic military aircraft and experimental acrobatic planes at San Antonio International Airport, Texas. Makerney a Ft. Townsend, OK native and Pollock are currently assigned to the San Antonio Military Medical Center. Col. Cole and aircrews have come here from across the region to participate in the Randolph Air Force Base Forging the Future Air Show on November 7-8. (U.S. Air Force photo/Lance Cheung)
