Warrior Flight

The B-25 Mitchell medium bomber "Special Delivery" took off from San Antonio International Airport, Texas and flew near the downtown district on Nov. 5, 2009. Tower of Americas, Texan Culture Center, and the Alamo are some of the notable sights below. Larry Gregory is one of the pilots of the B-25 of the Lone Star Flight Museum. Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Flight Team organized flights aboard approximately 10 historic or experimental air show aircraft for wounded warriors from the Warrior Transition Unit of the San Antonio Military Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, two days before the Randolph Air Force Base "Forging the Future" Air Show. DAV a non-profit organization provides services in support of disabled veterans. This is not an U.S. Air Force endorsement of DAV. (U.S. Air Force photo/Lance Cheung)
