Warrior Flight
Staff Sgt. Richard Pollock shows his enthusiasm after completing a flight Nov. 5, 2009, in the P-51 Mustang "Gunslinger," piloted by Jeff Linebaugh who invited him up into the pilot seat for photos. The flight originated at the San Antonio International Airport and toured over San Antonio. The Disabled American Veterans Flight Team organized these flights aboard historic and experimental air show aircraft for wounded warriors from the Warrior Transition Unit of the San Antonio Military Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, two days before the Randolph Air Force Base "Forging the Future" Air Show.
