Airman survives 'million-dollar' wound
Airman 1st Class Michael Brady is wheeled through "Hero's Highway" en route to the emergency room at the Air Force Theater Hospital in Balad Air Base, Iraq, Oct. 14. Airman Brady was augmenting the Army in an "in-lieu-of" tasking when he was wounded by sniper fire in Ad Diwaniyah, Iraq.
