Ramstein's C-130E Final Departure
Airmen from the 86th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, render a salute to the last C-130E Hercules as it taxies down the flightline Nov. 2, 2009, for departure. The E-model Hercules aircraft have provided more than 40 years of airpower to bases in the United States Air Forces in Europe, and are being replaced by the newer C-130J Super Hercules as part of revitalizing the Air Force fleet.
