4th CISM World Military Games
First Lt. Ill Ok Jang from the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea, U.S. Army Capt. Emily Nay and U.S. Air Force Capt. Wendy Emminger all scramble for the soccer ball during the first women's soccer match of the Military World Games in Hyderabad, India, Oct. 14. DPR Korea defeated the U.S. team 4-0. The Conseil Internationale du Sport Militaire's Military World Games event is the largest international military Olympic-style event in the world. In this year's fourth edition of the games, 103 countries and more than 5,000 athletes are competing Oct. 14 to 21 in boxing, diving, soccer, handball, judo, military pentathlon, parachuting, sailing, shooting, swimming, volleyball and track and field.
