Security forces Airmen, Soldiers mentor Afghan prison guards
Staff Sgt. David Popp meets with Afghan prison officials during a mentoring session Oct. 28, 2009, in Qalat, Afghanistan. Sergeant Popp, a security forces Airman assigned to the Zabul Provincial Reconstruction Team, is deployed to the region from Creech Air Force Base, Nev. He works with the guards, helping them become better at handling prisoners within the compound. The mission is just one of many the PRT takes on, which can range from foot patrols to working with government officials. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Joseph Kapinos)
