Airmen aid Stop Hunger Now
Beth Teegarden and her husband, Capt. Conor Teegarden, package winter clothing into large bags headed to Afghanistan during the Stop Hunger Now event Oct. 24, 2009, at the MERCI Mission Center in Goldsboro, N.C. The event transpired as an idea from the Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., chaplains and the Rev. Billy Olsen, a Pine Forest United Methodist Church pastor in North Carolina, as a way to bring together members of the base and local community. Captain Teegarden is a 333rd Fighter Squadron weapon system officer. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Heather Stanton)
