Airmen from the 474th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron work on the foundation for the new commissions complex Sept. 18. The unit broke ground Sept. 11 on the construction of the new expeditionary legal complex where military commissions will resume pending court review. JTF-GTMO conducts safe and humane care and custody of detained enemy combatants. The JTF conducts interrogation operations to collect strategic intelligence in support of the war on terrorism and supports law enforcement and war crimes investigations.
