SERE specialists on target
Senior Airman Brian Daubert prepares to land during a parachute jump demonstration Sept. 18 during survival, evasion, resistance and escape training at Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash. SERE specialists provide weekly demonstrations to show students the performance characteristics of the C-9 emergency egress parachute. The jump demo and combat, search and rescue demo are integrated seamlessly into one large demonstration in order for the students to see the entire sequence of events from the moment they egress the aircraft until they are recovered by friendly forces.
