Dover AFB medical officer selected for 'Why We Serve'
While deployed to Balad Air Base, Iraq, Maj. Marcia Potter served as the women's health practitioner and used off-duty time to treat refugee women. The major was selected Sept. 19 to participate in the DOD national civic outreach program 'Why We Serve.' Officials of this on-going program periodically select servicemembers to share their war-related stories with the American public. Major Potter is assigned to the 436th Medical Dental Operations Squadron at Dover Air Force Base, Del. (Courtesy photo)
