Arctic Warriors join battle against MS
Senior Master Sgt. Don Hendricks participates in the Alaska Multiple Sclerosis Bike Ride Sept. 8 along a section of the Seward Highway in the Kenai Peninsula, Alaska. Consistent and sometimes heavy rains didn't prevent Sergeant Hendricks, a member of the 3rd Component Maintenance Squadron, and other Airmen from Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska, from completing the ride, which took place along the Seward Highway from Mile Post 63 to Seward, Alaska. People who took the 126-mile, round-trip ride saw extreme elevation gains challenging even the most experienced of the 200 riders.
