Additions to Djiboutian schools help children's education
Schoolchildren welcome Army Brig. Gen. Sanford Holman and Stuart Symington their new classrooms Sept. 6 at the Goubetto primary school in the village of Balbala. The visit included a dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking the hand-over of a new-stocked library, bathroom facilities, a stage area for plays and a new power supply to the primary school. General Holman is the Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa deputy commander and Mr. Symington is the U.S. Ambassador to Djibouti. (U.S. Army photo/Army Sgt. Brandon McCarty)
