A MRAP Category III Buffalo model (far left) and MRAP Cougar (far right) will phase out the Humvee. MRAPs are designed to reduce servicemembers' casualties by protecting them from improvised explosive devices, increase their mobility and enhance mission success throughout the areas of responsibility.
