Airmen in Moscow reach out to children
A view from the tail of the C-17 Globemaster III shows just some of the thousands of people who visited the Moscow International Air Show Aug. 26 in Zhukovsky, Russia. A KC-135 Stratotanker from Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England; an F-15 Eagle from RAF Lakenheath, England; a B-52 from Barksdale Air Force Base, La.; a C-17 Globemaster II from McChord AFB, Wash., and two F-16 Fighting Falcons from Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, were on static display at the air show, along with many other aircraft from all over the world. The air show began Aug. 21 and concluded Aug. 26, and had more than 500,000 visitors. (U.S. Air Force photo/Maj. Pamela A.Q. Cook)
