Airmen in Moscow reach out to children
Staff Sgt. Jason Kidd poses for a photo with a young visitor to the Moscow International Air Show on the first day the show was open to the public Aug. 24 in Zhukovsky, Russia. The show began Aug. 21 and concluded Aug. 26. Defense Department participation consisted of static displays and aerial flight demonstrations. The air show is one of the premier events of its type in the world. U.S. participation in the air show demonstrated America's commitment to international security, promoted international cooperation and contributed to U.S. foreign policy objectives. About 65 Airmen from bases in Europe and the states participated in this year's air show. Sergeant Kidd is assigned to the 52nd Security Forces Squadron from Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany.
