Learning English is one of the Iraqi air force's core values, and students must successfully complete the course before moving on to pilot training. Captain Ravak is the 821st Expeditionary Training Squadron chief of English language training, and is deployed from Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala. He is a native of Cambridge, Ohio.
