Homestead Airmen return from Iraq
Staff Sgt. Theodore Yoder is greeted by Roxy, his Boston Terrier, and Senior Airman Kristi Ayala-Rosado Aug. 13 at Homstead Air Reserve Base, Fla. More than 260 Airmen from Homestead ARB were welcomed home as they returned from a deployment to Balad Air Base, Iraq. Sergeant Yoder is a 482nd Maintenance Squadron crew chief, and Airman Ayala-Rosado is assigned to the 482nd Security Forces Squadron. Members of the 93rd Fighter Squadron from the 482nd Fighter Wing at Homestead ARB provided close-air support and surveillance and reconnaissance missions in support of U.S. and coalition ground forces.
