Elmendorf, coalition forces hone skills at Red Flag-Alaska
Spanish air force Senior Airman Jesus Utrilla and Master Sgt. Jose Arias work with Staff Sgt. Carlos Garcia while fueling a C-130 from Spain July 23 at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska. Sergeant Garcia, assigned to the 3rd Logistics Readiness Squadron, is an Air Force liaison to the Spanish air force and is working with them during Red Flag-Alaska. More than 80 aircraft and 1,500 servicemembers from the six countries are flying together in this multinational exercise that provides realistic combat training in a safe and controlled setting over the Pacific Alaskan Range Complex and Eielson AFB, Alaska.
