Reserve, active duty units partner for 'win-win' training
Maj. Joni Clemens assesses Senior Airman Joseph Morgan who was a "patient" during an aeromedical evacuation training mission July 19 that originated at Pope Air Force Base, N.C. The mission provided the opportunity for the Reserve flying unit there to train with one of the active duty aeromedical evacuation units there. Major Clemens, with the 43rd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron at Pope Air Force Base, N.C., served as the medical crew director. Airman Morgan also is with the 43rd AES. The flight was one of the first operational missions for the Air Force Reserve Command's 440th Airlift Wing from its new location at Pope AFB. The Reserve unit moved to North Carolina from Wisconsin in June. (U.S. Air Force photo/Maj. Ann Knabe)
