Airman Peterson is a utilities journeyman with the 557th Expeditionary RED HORSE Squadron deployed from the 319th Civil Engineer Squadron at Grand Forks, N.D., and is originally from Great Falls, Mont. Airman Peterson and his fellow Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron Engineers, or RED HORSE, Airmen are forward deployed from Balad Air Base, Iraq, and are tasked to build four tactical operations centers for the Army's 2nd Brigade combat team, 3rd Infantry Division headquartered here. The 2/3 ID is currently running operations out of tents.
