Ramstein Airmen complete site survey for future tactical air navigation system
Master Sgt. Jerry McDonald and Tech. Sgt. Aaron Tibbits discuss what is needed for the installation of the tactical air navigation system during the final site inspection Sept. 17, 2009, Camp Turzii, Romania. The installation of the TACAN will provide better communication capabilities between the air and ground forces in the area, and it will also help strengthen the bonds between the United States and the host nation. Sergeants McDonald and Tibbits are 1st Communications Maintenance Squadron special communications team members. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Alexandria Mosness)
