Air Force firefighters fuel flames for live fire training
During a training exercise June 20, firefighters at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., wait for a kitchen fire to reach its peak to see how it will react. The 96th Civil Engineer Squadron members had the chance to experience the flames in a controlled scenario, as part of a unique "real fire" training opportunity in base housing scheduled for demolition.
