California Air Force Week
Spectators don't let the sun keep them from enjoying the many displays, including this C-5 Galaxy, June 9 at the California Capital Air Show in Sacramento, Calif. The air show was the last event of Air Force Week California. The purpose of Air Force Week is to inform and educate the American public about the importance and roles of the Air Force in America's national defense. More than 50,000 people attended the air show featuring the Air Force Thunderbirds and numerous Air Force aircraft. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Larry A. Simmons)
