Air Force physician applies research to humanitarian exercise
A Chuukese woman is escorted by two volunteers after receiving treatment from the humanitarian assistance rapid response team during a validation exercise Sept. 3, 2009, on Chuuk, in the Federated States of Micronesia. The team is the Air Force's new expeditionary medical capability designed to deploy within 24-hours of notice during disaster relief operations.
