Airmen put C-130 back in the fight
A C-130 Hercules and its crew from the 746th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron landed at an abandoned air strip due to engine problems May 25 outside of Shindand, Afghansistan. Maintenance repair teams from Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan, and the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing from Southwest Asia arrived at the scene to swap out the engine and return the aircraft to service.
