Master Sgt. Cecil Benjamin along with members of the U.S. Air Force Band of the Golden West plays "Americas We" before a proclamation ceremony at the California State Capitol building's West steps naming Sept. 8 to13 Air Force Week-Sacramento, Sept 8. Those in attendance included the Secretary of the Air Force, Michael Donley, the Commander of Air Mobility Command, Gen. Arthur Lichte, California Lt. Gov. John Garamendi and Brig. Gen. Mary J. Kight, Assistant Adjutant General, California National Guard. Air Force Week-Sacramento is an event using various activities and exhibitions to educate the local community about the Air Force's capabilities and missions and to thank the local community for its support.
