Search and rescue training
Soldiers from the Utah National Guard unit wait to be hoisted on board an Air Force HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter over the Utah Test and Training Range during a combat search and rescue integration exercise held May 2 to 5 in Sandy, Utah. Members of the 34th Weapons Squadron Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., led the search and recovery training. The objective of the exercise was to expand expertise and integration with Utah's 211th Aviation Group AH-64 Apache Joint Rotary Wing, 4th Fighter Squadron F-16 Fighting Falcon Striker assets, special operations forces and conduct extensive joint CSAR operations against surface-to-air threats.
