Air Force air evac crews adapt, train onboard mix of planes

Maj. (Dr.) Joseph Lawlor monitors a simulated patient onboard a C-17 Globemaster III. Five squadrons and about 80 medical personnel from California, Florida, Maryland and Georgia participated in the Air Force Reserve Aeromedical Evacuation Jamboree held April 28 and 29 at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Major Lawlor is a flight surgeon with the 445th Aeromedical Staging Squadron, and is assigned to a Critical Care Air Transport Team or CCATT that closely monitors seriously ill or wounded patients.
