Senior Airman Jason Davis trains Capt. Pierre Alvarado mapping and Global Positioning System skills April 10 at the Tama Hills Recreation Center near Yokota Air Base, Japan. Airman Davis is a a survival, evasion, resistance and escape specialist from the 374th Operational Support Squadron, and was recognized as the 2006 Pacific Air Forces SERE Airman of the Year. SERE specialists train members from all branches of the military on how to survive in all environments and conditions. Captain Alvarado is from the 36th Airlift Squadron.
