Coast Guard thanks Air Force ECMO team
A plaque thanking the 59th Medical Wing's Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation team is unveiled by Brig. Gen. (Dr.) David Young (right) and Coast Guard Capt. James Tunstall. Captain Tunstall and Coast Guard Lt. Seth Parker (left rear) traveled from San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, to present the plaque and thank the ECMO team for saving the life of baby Stuart Parker, Lieutenant Parker's son.
