U.S. Central Command, Bahrain air power officials discuss relations
Maj. Gen. William Holland, deputy Combined Forces Air Component commander, U.S. Central Command, meets with Brig. Gen. Hamad, commander of the Royal Bahraini Air Force this week at the Royal Bahraini Air Force headquarters at Shaikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain. The two air power officials discussed the military relations of their respective nations and air forces. General Holland and Lt. Gen. Gary North, the Combined Forces Air Component commander and commander of the U.S. Central Command Air Forces, travel frequently to foster military air power relations within the Central Command area of responsibility, to support the resolve of nations like Bahrain to defend their own air space and to effectively integrate air power employment throughout Southwest Asia.
