Testing the tele lines
Senior Airman Jason Wakefield, a voice network systems journeyman, checks telephone line cards during a routine inspection of the telephone network system Feb. 21 at Langley Air Force Base, Va. More than 18,000 telephone line cards support every telephone line connected to Langley. Telephones on the network would be nonfunctional without a telephone line card. Airman Wakefield is assigned to the 1st Communications Squadron (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Eric T. Sheler)
