Honoring fallen comrade
Airmen from the 27th Civil Engineer Squadron perform a special retreat ceremony Dec. 6 in honor of their comrade Capt. Kermit Evans who was killed in an emergency helicopter landing Dec. 3. Captain Evans was one of 16 people aboard the Marine CH-46 helicopter and one of four servicemembers killed as a result of the landing near the shore of Lake Qadisiyah in western Al Anbar Province, Iraq.
