Retired Chief Master Sgt. Ralph Barnett stands in front of the Pacific Air Forces Headquarters building Dec. 4 at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii. The PACAF building was a consolidated barracks that then Sgt. Barnett lived in when it was attacked by the Japanese Dec. 7, 1941.
