Hickam AFB, community combat underage drinking
Hawaii Lt. Gov. James Aiona Jr., Dr. Chiyome L. Fukino and Col. John Torres display the proclamation Oct. 26 announcing "Enforcing Underage Drinking Laws Program" Day at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii. Hickam was selected to receive a grant from the Department of Justice which will allow the base and the state to share $950 thousand over the next three years with the goal of reducing drinking by underage Airmen. Dr. Fukino is the director of the Hawaii State Department of Health. Colonel Torres is the 15th Airlift Wing commander. (U.S. Air Force photo)
