National Breast Cancer Awareness Month event at Minot Air Force Base, N.D.

Lt. Col. Jim Sterling, 5th Medical Support Squadron commander, bids on a handmade quilt during the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month event at Minot Air Force Base, N.D., Oct. 24. All proceeds from the quilt auction, which raised almost $4,000, were donated to breast cancer research through the Combined Federal Campaign. The event, themed "Voices of Breast Cancer, Inspiring Hope, Supporting a Cure, included a health fair and the personal testimony of several breast cancer survivors from the base community.
