Kirkuk self-help project protects airfield assets, saves money
Senior Master Sgt. Ernesto Gonzalez directs the placement of jersey barriers June 4 at Kirkuk Air Base, Iraq. This was the first step in a self-help airfield-security project that saved an estimated $500,000 by using existing assets and volunteers.
