T-38s at Laughlin mark beginning of transition
The first "Introduction to Fighter Fundamentals" T-38 Talon parks in front of the control tower Oct. 4 at Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas. The aircraft arrived from Moody Air Force Base, Ga., and soon will receive Laughlin AFB's "XL" tail flash. The arrival of the aircraft marks the beginning of a new mission for Laughlin AFB.
