Airmen visit, share stories with veterans
Barbara Poole Shoemaker and Chief Master Sgt. Anthony Manson share stories about her flying days in the Women's Auxiliary Ferrying Squadron in 1942. She was also a member of the Women Airforce Service Pilots. Airmen from Andrews Air Force Base, Md., visited veterans at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home in Charlotte Hall, Md., Sept. 18.
